With a weight on 1.5 pounds and a depth of only 0.5 inch it is easy to carry around an iPad in the traveling bag. Visiolink can help travelers by always having acces to todays newspaper no matter where they are in the world. Ipad will first arrive in a WI-FI version and later in a version which supports the 3G network, which makes it even easier to bring along as a traveling buddy – the reader is always online and ready to read the latest edition of the newspaper. The iPad screen is 9.7 inch and handles multi touch, just like we know it from the iPhone where it is possible to zoom, scroll between pages with the tip of your fingers, which makes it perfect as e-reading device.
 

The possibilities does not restrict to reading books and newspapers as many other e-reading devices do. You can surf on the internet, watch movies and pictures and much more, which makes it even more interesting to bring along everywhere. Visiolink already delivers e-distribution on many devices and has already developed newspaper applications which fot for the iPhone. Another advantage by the iPad is, that almost all applications developed for iPhone will according to Apple also work on the iPad. Therefor the customers who already distributes on the iPhone will easily distribute on the iPad as well – the applications will be synchronized via iTunes from the readers mac or pc. 
 

The iPad comes in three different sizes; 16, 32 og 64 GB. Apple has not yet revealed the prices in Europe but in USA the WI-FI version costs respectively 499, 599 og 699 US$ and the WI-FI + 3G-version costs 629, 729 og 829 US$. iPad WI-FI is expected to reach the European market within the next two months.
